Trend Spotter: Superheroes and Villains

Marvel’s The Avengers was released in theaters on May 4^th. One of the most anticipated films of the year, the Avengers kicked off the summer blockbuster season. Sure enough, it didn’t disappoint. We’ll be happy to report that the new 2012 costumes for this franchise are just as awesome. With new LED light-up features and updated designs for every superhero’s outfit, you can look ready to kick some villain butt. Some of our favorites from this collection of costumes are the Hulk Classic Muscle Adult Costume and the Captain America Muscle Light-Up Child Costume, shown below.

The Amazing Spider-Man was probably the least anticipated of the three superhero films this year, but the film exceeded the expectations of many fans. The new costume is an updated version of the classic blue and red outfit. With a detailed design reminiscent of mesh, the new Amazing Spider-man costume gives off an awesome look. Once again, Marvel did a fantastic job keeping classic aspects of a costume so that it’s still recognizable, while updating it to fit today’s fashion trends.

Last but not least, we arrive at Batman’s latest installment: the Dark Knight Rises. As many of you know, the opening of this film is scarred. While the film has received great reviews and lives up to all the hype surrounding it, the Colorado massacre has cast a dark shadow over its success. It’s times like these that we wish superheroes were not just fictional characters. With that said, our Dark Knight costumes will bring beloved Batman to life once again. While you might not be saving lives, you’ll be able to show the world that the Dark Knight is still worth honoring in all its glory.
