As a SoCal company, we like to keep our eyes out for events
in the area. It just so happens, the other day we stumbled upon a
Disneyland deal for SoCal
residents. With our
Los Angeles costume warehouse
just minutes away from Disneyland, it got us thinking of planning a trip to the
happiest place on Earth! Lately, there has been a growing trend of visitors
dressed as their favorite Disney characters. We sure have had our fair share of
customers who have stopped by our warehouse before their trip to grab some great
Disney costumes for
their little ones. However, since teens and adults are not allowed to dress in full character costumes at Disneyland, we wanted to share with you a couple
of fun DIY ideas inspired by some of our favorite characters. From the
newest Disney-Pixar movie, Monsters University, here's how you can create your
own Mike and Sulley costumes to sport at your next trip to Disneyland!
Mike Wazowski
This look features the licensed Monsters University Mike
Wazowski hat. Pair it with your favorite t-shirt or tank top, a pair of tights, a green tutu and furry leg warmers to complete the look!
Sulley
You can create a similar look with the licensed Sulley
hat! Switch up the colors of the leg warmers and tutu to coordinate with your
outfit as seen below.
With these DIY outfits, you’ll be ready for your day at
Disney! If you’re looking to get some costumes or accessories before your next visit,
be sure to use our newest app on Facebook to

Disney character costumes then fill out the form on the app. We hope to see you
before your next trip and we want to invite you to follow our blog for plenty
of costume ideas all year long!
